Recalling the start of their long night, Dr. Ging shared how Kris's generosity took center stage even as she was preparing for work:

"Her driver fetched me at 10:30PM, and I saw her get up from bed, get styled and made up... Conversation ranged from me asking if she was nervous (no, she wasn’t), to her wish to travel soon, to how proud she was of Bimb and his first solo endorsement as an adult. She asked me what PGH patients needed. 'Kailangan ba nila ng Safeguard soap? Patient gowns?' (Papunta kami sa work niya, pero iniisip pa rin niya kung paano makatulong.)"

Once they arrived on set, Dr. Ging watched Kris switch instantly into professional mode as cameras started rolling for them.

Dr. Ging revealed that the production lasted until dawn, testing everyone's stamina except the seasoned host herself:

"The shoot ended around 4AM. She only paused once to sit down briefly. Meanwhile, kaming mga kasama niya were already sitting on the sides kasi pagod at antok na. Pero si Ate Kris, tuloy-tuloy. Game na game siya, despite the pain in her knees."

Admiring how Kris rises above her health struggles the moment director calls action, Dr. Ging added:

"She really is a different person in front of the camera. It’s almost as if she forgets her illness and pain. Like, for those few hours, none of it exists. It’s kind of magic, TBH."

After wrapping up the grueling shoot, the team escorted Kris back home to rest. Dr. Ging recounted their touching parting exchange:

"As we were about to part ways, we hugged, & I said, 'I’m so proud of you, Ate Kris.' She answered, 'Look how far we’ve come.'"

Pairing her video with Shania Twain’s song "You're Still the One," Dr. Ging shared that the track has taken on an entirely new meaning for her:

"It’s now my song for Ate K. For watching her try so hard to make it, over and over again, despite the odds. For her boys. 💖"

Netizens and fans were quick to show their love and support, praising Kris for her resilience and thanking Dr. Ging and the medical team for their care and dedication to keeping the media icon healthy.
