"It's more on my side na nandun ako sa may mga gusto pa akong gawing bagay sa career ko, may gusto pa akong mga i-build sa sarili ko as a person, as a woman. I want to make sure that I'm not a baby taking care of a baby."

KZ noted that while people never feel entirely ready for parenthood, it remains a serious obligation to prepare emotionally and mentally too:

"You will never be ready sa pagiging magulang, but I also think it's your responsibility to at least try to be ready."

Addressing assumptions that financial stability alone justifies having a child immediately, KZ stressed the permanence of the role as well:

"Kapag sinasabihan kami na 'Pera-pera, may pera, na-sold out yung mga shows'... but it doesn't just end with that. It's a lifetime responsibility. Ayaw ko siya na parang mag-anak lang ako because I was pressured into becoming a mom. Ayaw ko lang maging nanay kasi kailangan may mag-aalaga kapag tumanda."

KZ also shared a heartfelt look into her spiritual life, opening up about her prayers regarding motherhood:

"Nagkaroon din ako ng mahabang-mahabang conversation with God and sabi ko rin, 'Lord, to be honest with You... I'm not saying I don't want to be a mom, but I'm not yet ready to be a mom. But if Lord, will Mo na maging nanay ako, then plant that love in me to become a mom. Help me nurture that love to become a mom until talagang it grows into something more than myself na alam kong ready akong magmahal ng anak.'"
