“Mas mainam gamitin nyo nalang para sa pagkain at iuwi nyo sa pamilya nyo,” he said.

Wilbert then revealed that he was allegedly offered P15 million to promote online gaming platforms using his own referral code. However, he decided to reject the offer because he did not want to influence people into g*mbling.

“Rineject ko! Kahit instant money. Bakit? Dahil marami tayo masisira ang buhay dahil sa sugal,” he explained.

The celebrity personality added that he personally witnessed friendships and relationships get ruined because of casino g*mbling and online gaming addiction. He also claimed that some developers presented systems that were allegedly structured in favor of the operators.

Aside from discussing g*mbling, Wilbert also reflected on the responsibility of influencers toward their supporters online.

“Tinawag nga tayo na influencer pero bakit ilulubog mo mga followers mo instead turuan natin sila kahit mga simpleng word of wisdom,” he stated.

He further shared that g*mbling problems often lead to debts and financial struggles. According to him, some people end up borrowing money from different individuals just to sustain their losses and pay previous debts.
