Andrew Muhlach, an actor, is the latest victim of the notorious "basag-kotse" gang. Taking to Instagram, Andrew shared distressing photos of a white vehicle with its rear window completely smashed, with glass shards scattered all over the leather seats.

The incident took place along 8th Street in New Manila. According to Andrew, this is the first time he has experienced such a crime, and he didn't hold back in addressing the culprits directly in his viral post.

"First time 'to nangyari sakin. Sa nagnakaw ng bag, for sure kilala niyo ako dahil andiyan dalawa kong passport," Andrew wrote in his caption. He even gave the culprits a chance to do the right thing, adding, "May chance pa kayo ibalik lahat yan."

Losing a passport is a major headache for anyone, but losing two is a significant blow to the actor’s personal documents. Andrew expressed his frustration over the loss, noting that the suspects likely realized who he was once they went through the bag's contents.

Aside from the call for the return of his belongings, Andrew used his platform to remind his followers to remain vigilant and prioritize their safety when outside.

"Anyway, wala na ako masabi kundi mag-ingat na lang tayo sa susunod," he lamented. He urged everyone to stay alert, saying, "Pati na rin kayo, double ingat lang tayo. Daming epal sa mundo."

Friends and fans quickly filled his comments section with words of support, with many hoping that the stolen items, especially the passports, would be recovered soon. For now, Andrew’s post serves as a stark warning to never leave valuables inside parked cars.
