Angelica Panganiban took to Instagram to warn netizens about a fake Facebook page that is allegedly using the name Mangrove Subic to scam people online.

The actress posted an official statement from the Uy Coronel & Villamor Law Offices, which confirmed that legal action and investigation are being taken regarding the fraudulent activity.
According to the statement, a fake page pretending to be Mangrove Subic has been deceiving people by using the resort’s name, branding, and identity. It has also been actively entertaining inquiries and accepting payments without authorization.

The document stressed that the fake page is not connected to the resort in any way and has already caused several individuals to fall victim to the scam.

It further clarified that there is only one official Facebook page of Mangrove Subic, and all guests are strongly advised to verify authenticity before sending any payments or personal information.
Angelica also included a caption in her post urging the public to stay alert and share the warning. She reminded followers not to engage with suspicious pages or click unknown links, especially those offering unrealistic deals.
The actress also emphasized that people should only coordinate through official contact details provided by the resort.

Always verify by contacting us through our official page or direct contact details. If you have been contacted or victimized, please report immediately and inform us. We are currently working with authorities regarding this matter. Stay alert and help us protect others by sharing this post."
Mangrove Subic is owned by businessman Gregg Homan, who is Angelica’s husband. The couple has been managing the resort, which has recently gained attention for its scenic coastal location in Subic Bay.
Authorities are currently being coordinated with to investigate the scam and identify those behind the fake page. The statement also encouraged victims to report incidents immediately to help prevent further fraud.
