According to a report from GMA Regional TV’s "Balitanghali," thick smoke and large flames engulfed the area as the fire quickly spread, affecting nearby structures.
The incident left significant damage to both residential and commercial properties within the community.
The owner of one of the burned houses shared what they believe triggered the blaze.

“Napabayaang sinaing ng kaniyang misis ang tinitingnang sanhi ng apoy,” the homeowner said, pointing to unattended rice being cooked as the possible origin of the fire.
Among the affected establishments was an electronic repair shop, which was completely reduced to ashes.
Meanwhile, a roasted chicken stall and a photo printing shop sustained partial damage as firefighters worked to contain the flames.
Authorities from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) responded to the scene and conducted an initial assessment of the damage. Based on their estimates, the fire caused losses amounting to more than P200,000.
No casualties have been reported as of writing, but residents in the area were left shaken by the incident and the rapid spread of the fire.
Investigators are continuing to look into the circumstances surrounding the incident to confirm the exact cause.
Officials are also reminding the public to remain vigilant when cooking and to avoid leaving stoves unattended to prevent similar incidents in the future.
