R&B singer Kris Lawrence has finally set the record straight regarding the rumors swirling around him and his former partner, Katrina Halili. During a guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Kris addressed the hopes of many fans who thought the two had reconciled.

"No, we have not. Hindi kami nagkabalikan, Tito Boy," Kris directly stated, putting an end to the speculations triggered by their recent social media posts together.

Despite not being a couple, Kris expressed how happy he is that they are on good terms again this 2026. He noted that their daughter, Katie, has been the biggest winner in this new arrangement.

"I’m really, really grateful for this time that we have together because honestly, when we became okay... Katie has been probably the best that I’ve seen her," Kris shared. "Her smile has been more genuine... You could just tell that she’s so much happier," he added.

Katrina also shared her perspective, describing their recent family trip to El Nido as a fresh start.

"Reset po ng friendship. Kasi parang first time namin mag-bonding noon," she said, explaining that their interactions used to be very limited before Kris spent time in the United States.

When asked by Boy Abunda if they are both single, both stars answered with a quick "Yes po."

For now, the two are happy keeping things natural and unscripted. Katrina also added that they are simply enjoying each other's company without the pressure of labels.
