Maxene Magalona took to social media to share an amusing birthday greeting for veteran broadcast journalist Karen Davila.

On Instagram Stories on Thursday, November 21, Maxene shared a clip lifted from Karen’s interview with Lyca Gairanod back in 2021.

In the viral clip, Karen became overly excited when the young singer revealed that they have the same birthday – November 21. On the other hand, Lyca was shocked by Karen’s reaction.

Along with the hilarious clip, Maxene wished the news anchor a happy birthday.

Karen Davila is a journalist, radio broadcaster, newsreader and television presenter in the Philippines. She is best known for her news programs on ABS-CBN. Karen has also found immense success as a YouTube content creator. She is now one of the anchors on ANC.

In a previous report by KAMI, the award-winning journalist shared a heartwarming post about her mother’s 89th birthday. She shared clips of her mother’s birthday lunch with her loved ones. The broadcaster’s mother also had to undergo a physical therapy session on her birthday. According to Karen, her mother has been diagnosed with mild Parkinson's disease and neuropathy issues.

Karen Davila took to Instagram and penned a heartfelt post for her friend and co-anchor, Henry Omaga Diaz. She made the post on the last day of Henry on TV Patrol as he would be embarking on a new journey in Canada with his family. Karen thanked Henry for how he treated them, and regarded him as one of the nicest and coolest. "Walang masamang tinapay kanino man!" said Karen of her co-anchor.
