Vicki Belo opened up about the value she places on family and why raising her youngest daughter, Scarlet Snow Belo, has felt like a second chance at motherhood.

The celebrity doctor shared her reflections during her conversation with Dani Barretto on The Bare It All Podcast. They talked about different parts of her life, including family, motherhood, career, and the priorities she has today.
“My happiness of course is my family,” Vicki said.
She explained that parents sometimes have to spend much of their time working while their children are still young. For her, it was part of trying to build a career and give her family a good future.

“Still, always, has been. And I'm so lucky because I have a little girl. Because the irony of life is wala kang pera, of course you first get married, so work,” she shared.
The businesswoman then reflected on the time when she was raising Quark and Cristalle while also working hard on her career.
Vicki said things eventually changed as her children grew older. By the time she had more time to spend with them, they already had their own schedules and responsibilities.
“But when there is time already, you can spend time with them, sila naman ang wala ng time sa'yo and that was the catch with Quark and with Cristalle,” she said.
Scarlet's arrival gave her another opportunity to experience motherhood at a different stage in her life.
“But I had a second chance because with Scarlet, I was already made when she was born,” the doctor shared.
She also recalled her experience with cancer and how it affected the way she viewed her time with her youngest child.
“And then I also got cancer 'di ba? So the thinking there is, I don't know how much time I have so I will devote most of my time to her. So nag-change 'yung priorities,” she said.
Vicki also praised her husband, Hayden Kho, for the way he raises Scarlet. She described him as a disciplined father and jokingly admitted that she is the one who tends to spoil their daughter.
