Derek Ramsay, a Filipino actor, recently responded to a netizen who said a few words about Elias Modesto's blood test video that was posted online.

Previously, Ellen Adarna took to her Instagram to post a video of her son bravely facing the blood test, even though he was crying and being comforted.

In the now-viral video, Ellen's husband, Derek, could be seen accompanying Elias on his blood test, hugging him as the latter had to get his blood checked.

However, the harmless video prompted one netizen to react and said a child should be distracted before poking to "make things fast and easy" for them.

"Dapat ang bata ay distracted right before poking to make things fast and easy, less anxiety for the kid. Please wear gloves too when handling blood products for all patients. Thank you," they wrote.

Eventually, Derek reacted and provided a different suggestion and idea to the netizen who commented about Elias' now-viral blood test video.

"Or you can teach him to be brave! Distracting him can also break the trust and making it harder next time around," he suggested, with his comments earning likes.
