She then recalled Mag-Asawa'y Di Biro, the sitcom that featured her parents, Ramon Christopher "Monching" Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon, together with her grandparents Eddie Gutierrez and Pilita Corrales.

"Actually, noong bata ako, mayroong sitcom 'yung parents ko, it was called Mag-Asawa'y Di Biro. Tapos kasama rin doon 'yung lola ko at lolo ko. Tapos 'yung parents ko doon mag-asawa," Janine said.

The comedy series aired on New Vision 9 from 1990 to 1993. It also featured Dennis Padilla and Flora Gasser.

For Janine, doing something similar today would be exciting not only because she could work with relatives. She also misses seeing sitcoms on television and believes the format could make work feel more playful.

"I think ang cool lang na una sa lahat, sitcom, nakaka-miss 'yung sitcom. And pangalawa, parang naglalaro lang kayo, but work. So, that would be nice," she said.

The actress also shared that she would be happy to work with her younger brother, Diego Gutierrez, if the right opportunity comes along.

Diego has mainly focused on music, but Janine said her brother recently told her that he is now open to trying acting.
