Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She was also crowned as Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 in the recent Miss Grand Philippines pageant. Herlene played the lead role in Kapuso afternoon series "Magandang Dilag."

Herlene Budol met a minor accident at the recently concluded GMA Gala 2024. She stumbled and fell off the stage while flaunting her Leo Almodal couture gown. The Kapuso star then defended herself after the unfortunate incident went viral and received negative reactions from her bashers. The actress and beauty queen also stressed that she did not sustain any major injury.

Following the unfortunate incident, she took to Instagram Stories and shared a video of her right leg. As seen in the short video, the Kapuso star sustained minor wounds on her knee and thigh. Herlene also put a frowning face emoji on the video.
