Nancy Gamo, the accountant of suspended Bamban mayor Alice Guo was arrested pursuant to an arrest order of the Senate.
Based on the report of GMA, particularly dzBB's Nimfa Ravelo, Gamo was already brought to the Senate's custody.
She underwent medical checkup after she was brought to the Senate in Pasay City.
She will be staying there until the senate inquiry into the Bamban POGO hub will resume.

Guo was not found in her residence, nor were her siblings, who were also ordered arrested.
The suspended mayor has repeatedly ignored the subpoenas issued by the Senate to her, to attend the inquiries, which resulted in her being cited for contempt.
Alice Leal Guo is the Mayor of the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac. She won as mayor during the national elections in 2022. She became known nationwide after her name was dragged into the ongoing Senate investigations regarding Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations or (POGO) and the alleged proliferation of illegal immigrants. Her name has been the subject of many online memes since then. Now, the Senate has ordered her arrest for not attending the hearings.
In a related article published last year, social media influencer Madam Kilay previously aired her sentiments about some vloggers who promote betting online. According to her, these people should stop doing so as they already earn from posting content. It didn't take long for her post to go viral on the said social media platform. She even created a new video, highlighting her thoughts about the matter.
In another related news posted several years ago, DOLE confirmed that the number of Chinese illegal workers in the Philippines appeared to have increased. Philippine senators, at the time, expressed their opinion about the matter. They said the government should be stricter in granting permits.
