Later that day, after he posted it, the much-anticipated announcement revealed that TVJ won the copyright case concerning the show's trademark against TAPE.

Joey is also best known for being a pioneer host of the longest-running noontime show in the country, “Eat Bulaga.” It premiered on July 30, 1979.

On his Instagram page, Joey shared a photo of him with “Ellen of Hollywood.” Ellen is a character made using artificial intelligence who reminds the contestants of E.A.T.’s “Gimme 5: Laro ng Mga Henyo” about each round’s mechanics. In the caption, the comedian said Ellen was asked about her thoughts on television. According to Joey, Ellen jokingly answered, “Fakeapalan leng.”
