Social media influencer and businessman Xian Gaza took to social media to react to the recent viral news about Andrea Brillantes’ mother, Belle Brillantes.

Amid the rumors online that Andrea was involved in the breakup of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo’s 11-year relationship, a netizen asked Belle how she raised her daughter.

Belle then replied that her daughter was able to fund her siblings’ education, the construction of their house, and her own business. Belle then asked the netizen what she had accomplished in life.

“Paano? Napagtapos niya sa school mga kapatid niya, nakapagpagawa ng bahay, may sariling negosyo. Ikaw, anong ambag mo sa mundo?” answered Belle.

On his Facebook account, Xian advised Belle to not brag about Andrea funding her siblings’ education and the construction of their house. According to Xian, doing so is a form of self-criticism for Belle.

He then told his followers that the parents are responsible for their children’s education and providing a house for them.

Mommy Belle, hindi ka po dapat proud na si Andrea ang nakapagpagawa ng bahay niyo at nakapagpatapos ng mga anak mo sa school. Kasi kapag ipinagsigawan mo po ito eh para mo pong siniraan yung sarili mo sa publiko. Hindi ko po kayo maaaring husgahan dahil hindi ko po alam ang buong kwento ng inyong pamilya. Ang akin lang eh mag-ingat po tayo sa mga binibitawang salita in public at huwag magpadala sa silakbo ng damdamin.
