Comedian Ate Gay shared an encouraging update in her ongoing battle with cancer, revealing that recent medical tests showed no more tumors in her nose and neck.

In a Facebook post, she responded to questions from friends and loved ones about her condition and reflected on the extensive treatments she had undergone.

“Tinatanong nila kung magaling na ba ako .. Sagot ko, feeling ko… dami kong pinagdaanan, lahat ng ‘yan ay sinipag kong gawin dahil bigay ito ng aking Anghel na dala ni Lord sa akin,” she said.

Ate Gay said her treatments included 35 radiation therapy sessions, five chemotherapy sessions, six CyberKnife treatments, and nine immunotherapy sessions. She also underwent PET scans, CT scans, and an MRI.

She was particularly grateful after receiving favorable results from her recent tests. According to her, her MRI showed that the tumors in her nose and neck were gone, while her PET scan showed that the previously illuminated areas in her neck had been cleared following CyberKnife treatment.

“At lahat ng ‘yan ay clear na… sa MRI lumabas na wala na ako bukol sa ilong at leeg … sa pet scan ang mga umilaw sa leeg ko ay natunaw na ng cyberknife … thank you LORD,” Ate Gay said.

However, her treatment continues as she receives immunotherapy every 21 days. She also opened up about the severe side effects she experienced and admitted that there were moments when she nearly wanted to give up.

“Patuloy pa rin ako immunotherapy every 21 days. Tiniis ko ang mga side effects na muntik ko ng maabot Ang GUSTO KO NG BUMITAW pero di ko ninais… Mas inisip ko na MAY BUKAS PA at ha hanapin ko nalang kung SAAN DARATING ANG UMAGA… basta Ang alam ko MAY HIMALA PALA,” she exclaimed.

The update also made her recent birthday more meaningful. Ate Gay recalled that her doctor had previously told her that she might not make it to 2026.

“Sabi ng Doctor ko Nung una di na ako aabot ng 2026 ..aba aba aba at eto abot ako sa Birthday ko,” she wrote.

She expressed gratitude to her supporters and to the Lord for helping her through her journey.

“Salamat sa inyong lahat lalo na sa mga Anghel ko at Kay Lord Jesus… salamat,” she added.

Ate Gay also shared an emotional experience during her first visit to the National Shrine and Parish of Saint Padre Pio in Santo Tomas, Batangas. She said she unexpectedly broke down inside the church. During her prayer, Ate Gay said she also asked for healing for other people battling illnesses.

Ate Gay, whose real name is Gil Aducal Morales, is a prominent Filipino comedian, singer, and television personality. She built a successful entertainment career as a famed impersonator of screen icon Nora Aunor and gained widespread acclaim for her signature mashup song performances.
