During her interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Friday, September 11, host Boy Abunda asked Julie Anne if she had any doubts or fears when she was welcomed to GMA 7 two decades ago.
Julie Anne acknowledged that she did have uncertainties, particularly because she was not initially sure if showbiz was truly meant for her.

“Oo naman. Yes, of course, Tito Boy. Kasi, unang-una po talaga, hindi ko sure kung ito ba talaga ang para sa akin. So, may times na I almost quit na, parang hindi ko alam kung sure ako sa gagawin kong ito.”

She went on to share that despite her doubts and attempts to walk away, she repeatedly found herself being led back to the same path, which eventually made her believe that her career was part of God’s plan for her.
Julie Anne recalled how she eventually came to accept that showbiz might be the path intended for her.
“And then, there was a time na sabi ko, "Kahit anong gawin ko or kahit ilang beses akong mag-quit, parang dito ako lagi nili-lead ni Lord sa path na ito." Kaya sabi ko, 'Baka siguro, ito na nga 'yung gusto ng Panginoon para sa akin.'”
Now two decades into her career, Julie Anne has established herself as a singer, actress, and television personality, continuing to take on various projects in the entertainment industry.

Born on May 17, 1994, Julie Anne San Jose is a Filipina singer, actress, and endorser who has made a name for herself through her impressive musical talent and diverse work in show business. Over the years, she has become one of the Philippines’ recognized performers, earning both commercial success and a strong following. Her sophomore album, “Deeper,” reached Triple Platinum status, further cementing her achievements as a recording artist.
