Two men allegedly stole several LPG tanks and cash from a store in Barangay Talipapa, Quezon City.

The incident was captured by security cameras and featured in a report by Gabriel Gonzales on GMA’s Unang Balita.
According to the report, one of the men was seen outside the LPG store shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday. He appeared to be observing the establishment and its surroundings.
A motorcycle rider arrived moments later. The first man reportedly took something from the paper bag carried by the rider before entering the store.

The actual breaking of the gate’s padlocks was not recorded. However, the suspect allegedly used a bolt cutter supplied by the rider to gain access to the establishment.
Once inside, the man immediately changed the direction of one of the CCTV cameras. His action apparently prevented the device from recording some parts of the incident.
Another camera angle, however, showed him taking the money kept inside the store’s cash register.
After several minutes, the man left the establishment while carrying two LPG tanks. He then loaded the stolen items onto the motorcycle.
The incident did not end there. At around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, the rider allegedly returned to the store.
He reportedly took two more LPG tanks before leaving the area. A total of four tanks, along with the store’s earnings, were allegedly stolen during the two incidents.
The owner said the stolen items and cash caused a significant financial loss to the business. She also revealed that the store had previously been targeted shortly after it opened in 2021.

“Pangalawang beses na po ito. Noong opening pa lang namin dito, way back 2021. Parang pinabayaan na namin, hindi na namin pina-blotter,” the owner said.
Unlike the first incident, she is now determined to pursue a complaint against the suspects.
“Syempre, mag-aabono ka. Ang daming nawala eh. Benta mo, imbes na pampasahod mo na sana, mawawala,” she added.
The incident has already been reported to the police and barangay authorities. Barangay officials said they are searching for the two men, who may not be residents of the area.
Although the CCTV footage was unclear, authorities hope the suspects’ physical build and movements will help in identifying them.
Residents with information about the men or their whereabouts are encouraged to coordinate with the police or barangay.
Following the theft, the store owner replaced the gate’s padlocks with heavier-duty locks to strengthen the establishment’s security.

Police said the 52-year-old owner was sleeping when he woke up and noticed that someone was allegedly taking his fighting rooster. He then confronted the man. During the encounter, the owner reportedly struck him in the head with a hardened piece of cement.
Meanwhile, an unidentified man fled after emergency alarms sounded while he was allegedly trying to enter a house in Barangay San Roque, Angono, Rizal. The incident happened shortly after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a report by EJ Gomez on GMA’s Unang Balita. CCTV footage showed a man wearing a cap climbing the stairs leading to the house. He stood near the gate and appeared ready to open it when an alarm suddenly went off.
