Luis Manzano’s charm with his mom appears not to work in one particular instance when the veteran multi-awarded actress stood pat on her decision to buy things only for her granddaughter, Baby Peanut.

Baby Peanut is the daughter of Luis and his wife, Jessy Mendiola.

In the video that Luis uploaded on social media, he shown asking his mom at the outset if she’s going to go shopping for all of them.

“Isho-shopping mo kami mommy?” Luis asked, to which the multi-awarded veteran actress answered in the negative.

“Hindi! isho-shopping niyo ako,” Vilma replied while laughing, and then answered that she would only shop for her granddaughter, Peanut.

“Si Peanut lang ang isho-shopping ko. Si Peanut lang,” Vilma said firmly.

Jessy, who was with them, patted Luis on the shoulder and told him it’s okay.

“Okay na yun. Okay na yun,” Jessy said to a frowning Luis.

Vilma, who was obviously joking, then reiterated that she would only shop for her granddaughter.

“Si Peanut lang po ang isho-shopping ko,” Vilma said.

Luis Manzano is a popular actor and TV host who works for the Kapamilya network. He is the son of showbiz legends Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. He has also starred in a number of movies. The star is now married to actress, product endorser, YouTube vlogger, and model Jessy Mendiola. Luis and Jessy already have a child named Isabella Rose, who is also known as Baby Peanut.

Luis' and Jessy’s daughter, Isabella Rose or Peanut, is now 10 months old. The celebrity dad took to his Instagram page and shared lovely photos of Baby Peanut from her 10th-month shoot. In the caption, Luis penned a short but heartfelt message for his child. The actor also shared in the comments section of his post that his little one is now teething.

Recently, the emotional farewell today of Luis along with the rest of the cast of “It’s Your Lucky Day” to their viewing audience went viral. While the show has only been aired for barely two weeks, it has gained instant popularity. The show became ABS-CBN’s temporary substitute for “It’s Showtime” after the latter was slapped with a 12-day suspension by MTRCB. It can be recalled that ABS-CBN tried to seek a Motion for Reconsideration for the suspension but the government regulatory body turned it down.
