Executives of ABS-CBN Corporation and GMA Network Incorporated on Wednesday signed a contract for the airing of "It's Showtime" on GTV, GMA's free television channel.
Aside from the media giant's bosses, the noontime show's hosts also attended the contract signing event.
Moments after the event, Kim took to social media and penned a heartfelt post on her Twitter account.
"So many things to be grateful for," the actress and TV host wrote.

Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu, better known by fans and people in the showbiz industry as Kim Chiu, is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990 in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.” She is in a relationship with actor Xian Lim.
Kim was interviewed by MJ Marfori and was asked about the events that transpired at "Eat Bulaga." The actress underscored her high respect for Tito, Vic, and Joey (TVJ), and expressed support for the trio. She also stated that wherever TVJ is, the support will always be there. A video showing Anne Curtis, Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, Ogie Alcasid, Amy Perez, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Jackie Gonzaga, Ion Perez, Cianne Dominguez, MC Muah, Lassy and Vice Ganda being introduced at the event then made the rounds on social media.
