“From the first day of chemo to almost finishing my 2nd cycle! Look at me, still smiling. ❤️” he wrote.

For Kenneth, the smile does not mean that chemotherapy has been easy. Instead, he explained that he has deliberately chosen to focus on things that give him strength rather than allowing fear to become the center of his experience.

“Hindi dahil madali. Kundi dahil may mga bagay na mas pinipili mong panghawakan kaysa sa takot,” Kenneth said.

Kenneth admitted that there have been moments during his treatment that have been particularly challenging. At the same time, he said the experience has given him many reasons to remain grateful.

“I’ve had difficult days, but I’ve also had so many reasons to be grateful,” he shared.

The actor and dancer then turned his attention toward people who may be facing struggles of their own. Rather than limiting his message to his personal experience, Kenneth offered encouragement to anyone currently going through a difficult period.

“And if you’re going through something of your own, I hope you remember that what you’re facing right now is only part of your story. Not the whole story,” he wrote.

As he approaches the completion of his second chemotherapy cycle, Kenneth said he is not approaching the next stage with fear.

“Almost done with Cycle 2. And honestly? I’m ready and excited for Cycle 3. Bring it on,” he wrote.

His latest update comes after he has shared several glimpses into his cancer journey with the public. Rather than hiding the difficult realities of his treatment, Kenneth has openly documented different stages of his experience, allowing his supporters to follow his progress.

Kenneth’s supporters have followed his journey since he first revealed his cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment. His willingness to discuss his experience publicly has also allowed him to send messages of encouragement to other people dealing with serious challenges.

Now, with Cycle 2 nearly behind him, Kenneth is preparing himself mentally for Cycle 3. His statement that he is “ready and excited” suggests that he is choosing to approach the next phase with determination.

Kenneth previously revealed that he underwent surgery to have his right testicle removed after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. The tumor was located in the right testicle, which doctors surgically removed as part of his treatment. Kenneth said he has no reason to feel ashamed about losing the organ because undergoing the operation ultimately became an important part of saving his life. He has also explained that his doctors continue to monitor his condition through follow-up checkups and medical tests to determine whether the cancer has spread to other parts of his body.

Before his most recent chemotherapy update, Kenneth appealed to the public for assistance after his hospital expenses reached ₱250,000. He explained that although some of his social media posts might give the impression that he was happy and coping well, he was privately dealing with a particularly challenging emotional period. Kenneth asked people who had the means to help with his medical expenses to consider providing financial assistance. At the same time, he recognized that not everyone would be able to contribute money and asked those supporters to include him in their prayers instead. His appeal reflected the outpouring of support he has received from the public as he continues his cancer treatment and faces the demands of chemotherapy.
