Nikki Valdez expressed how honored she was to have stood up for Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.

As she enunciated the words, she got teary-eyed and her voice started to break.

"Sir Kiko, it was my honor and my pleasure standing up for you..."

Sen. Kiko Pangilinan took to Facebook and thanked Nikki Valdez for all that she did during the campaign for the senator, and for VP Leni Robredo.

The senator said that Nikki is a truly good Filipino.

"Kung mayroon mang tinatawag na "Liwanag sa Dilim," ikaw ito Nikki Valdez. Isa kang tunay na mabuting Pilipino."

He then thanked Nikki because she made them feel the love and the firmness of her beliefs.

The actress was among those who campaigned hard for VP Leni and Sen. Kiko.

She was among the celebrities whom one can constantly see in rallies.

Francis Pancratius Nepomuceno Pangilinan, better known as Sen. Kiko, is a Pinoy lawyer and politician currently serving as a Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. He was born on August 24, 1963 and has been very active on social issues since his student days way back in 1985.

Sen. Kiko Pangilinan took to Twitter and expressed how honored he was to have stood with VP Leni Robredo during the campaign. He thanked the vice president for the trust. The senator also said that the struggle for genuine social transformation is not ending with the elections and the fight shall continue. In response, VP Leni said that it has been her greatest honor to have fought the battle with the senator

The singer and dancer was pondering if he could have done more and told the senator that he tried to do his best. Sen. Kiko gave words of comfort and told his nephew that he did his best and so much more. For Gab, there is no greater honor than to stand ground and to fight for what one believes in.
