The actress has been actively supporting VP Leni and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan in their quest to become the next leaders of the country.
The basketball star, on the other hand, is a known supporter of the BBM-Sara tandem, a political rival of the Leni-Kiko team.
In her video, Andrea can be heard talking to herself about her candidate for president.

“Sigurado na ‘ko kay Leni pero alam ko naman na yung iba, undecided pa, o may ibang sinusuportahan. Alam ko na yan, yung isa nga sinagot ko pa e,” Andrea said.
The last statement appears to allude to Ricci, whom Andrea recently said “yes” to when he asked her to be his girlfriend after a game of basketball.
“Naku, naku, naku, naku. Bebe, kung napapanood mo ito, iboto mo si Leni kung hindi…” the actress jokingly threatened.
The actress immediately clarified that she was just joking and indicated that if one wanted to convince his or her partner, it should be done in a very calm manner.
“Charot lang. Hindi ako diktador. O baka may mag-react, a. Daanin natin sa maayos na pakiusap. O kayong may mga dyowa, alam n’yo na ang gagawin n’yo ha,” Andrea said.
She then explained why she wanted to convert all her friends and loved ones for VP Leni.
“Alam niyo ba kung bakit gusto kong i-convert lahat ng kakilala at mahal ko para kay Leni? Kasi ang pagsuporta ko kay Leni, proof yon ng pagmamahal ko sa kanila,” the actress said.
“Kasi kung mahal mo ang isang tao, pamilya man, kaibigan o jowa, gusto mo malaya siya. Malayang mangarap at malayang tuparin ang mga pangarap niya,” Andrea added.
The actress recently openly declared her support for the presidential run of VP Leni.
Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.”
Recently, she also took to TikTok and made a lengthy narrative, a message for first-time voters. She said that the usual criticism she would hear is that she is still quite young, implying that she does not know anything because of her age. Andrea then said that first-time voters must not worry because they are not alone. The actress then ended the video by saying that she may be a first-time voter, but it is not her first time being a Filipino, and that she is voting for VP Leni Robredo.
Andrea indicated that she and her boyfriend Ricci respect each others different political views. The two support different candidates, Andrea has declared she's Kakampink while Ricci is a supporter of the BBM-Sara tandem. According to Andrea, she believes that she can convince her boyfriend to change his mind come election day.
