Former Miss Q&A candidate Ligaya Maligat has passed away as confirmed by a Facebook user named Erika Akire.

Erika wrote a heartfelt message for Ligaya. Her post also informed everyone about Ligaya's passing.
"REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND! Ligaya Maligat DI KA NAMIN MAKAKALIMUTAN," she wrote.
She also shared some photos taken from Ligaya's wake.
