Mariel Padilla, in an Instagram post, expressed her belief that perhaps her kids are not that sickly because when they were babies, she nursed them in a natural way.

The TV host has two daughters, Maria Isabella, whose birthday is November 14, 2016, and Maria Gabriela, who was born in 2019.
Mariel said that they were not spared by the flu season as all of them became sick.
They did test for COVID though and all of them tested negative.

“It’s flu season and kahit kami hindi naka takas sa flu season (we ALL tested negative for covid),” the TV host wrote in her IG post.
She expressed surprise, however, how quickly her kids bounced back, while she, on the other hand, is still experiencing flu symptoms.
“I was surprised how quickly my kids recovered. Ako inuubo ko parin ang buhay ko (asthmatic) to the max. My kids are back to normal,” the doting mother said.
Mariel further revealed that Isabella only had “sinat,” while Gabriella experienced flu symptoms for only two days.
“Isabella sinat lang, Gabriela 2 days lang barely hit 38°,” she narrated.
The TV host then expressed her belief that it might be because they were fed naturally when they were babies, and added to that is they are taking vitamins religiously.
“I am thinking because they were breastfed kaya hindi sila sakitin. Plus I maintain it talaga by religiously giving them vitamins everyday,” Mariel said.
She also shared that she bought her kids costumes worth 500 pesos and they were really happy about it.
“500 peso costumes that made my kids soooo happy,” Mariel said.
