Megastar Sharon Cuneta has revealed in an Instagram post that she is now in home isolation after her husband, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, tested positive for COVID-19.

She also revealed that she has taken the antigen tests and was found negative for coronavirus.

“Last night, I tested negative on my antigen. Kiko tested positive on his RT-PCR test results. This morning, all of us at home tested negative on antigen,” Shawie wrote in her IG post.

To make sure, however, Mega said that she, along with the rest of her household, also took the RT-PCR test to make sure.

“A couple of days or so to see this morning’s RT-PCR test results — all of ours,” Mega said.

As of January 9, the other members of her household are still waiting for the RT-PCR results.

She also revealed in the same post that they are now isolated in different areas of their home.

“We are all isolating in different parts of our home,” Mega wrote.

Sharon admitted getting worried, particularly for their kids and other members of their household.

She asked her fans to include her and their entire household in their prayers.

“I worry for my children. Please pray for us all, including our beloved Yayas (nannies). So not the birthday gift I expected,” Shawie said in her post.

She also reminded her fans to stay safe in her IG post that included a photo quote from a certain md_anna_artistic that says “Make today happy.”

Mega celebrated her birthday only a couple of days ago.

Sharon Gamboa Cuneta-Pangilinan, sometimes referred to as Shawie, Megastar, or Mega, is a Pinay actress, singer, TV host, entrepreneur, and commercial endorser. She was born on born January 6, 1966 in Santa Mesa, Manila, Philippines to the late Pablo Cuneta, a former Mayor of Pasay City, and Elaine Gamboa, the sister of Helen Gamboa, wife of Philippine Senate President, Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

Last January 6, Shawie celebrated her 56th birthday. Her firstborn, KC Concepcion, then took to social media to greet the veteran actress. On her Instagram account, KC shared an adorable throwback picture of her and her mom. KC then wrote in the caption her heartfelt birthday message to Sharon, her “first best friend” and “first valentine.”

A couple of weeks before, Sharon gave her help to citizens in Cebu who were badly hit by the super typhoon Odette. She joined her husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, in handing out relief goods to people in need. The Megastar and Kiko gave assistance to the poor, interacted with them, and tried to give them comfort. Many netizens praised Sharon for not forgetting to help the people affected by the strong storm.
