Rita Avila took to Instagram and responded to the bashers of her post about Bongbong Marcos where she said that it was "embarrassing" that the son of the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos did not receive a degree from Oxford University.
Many bashers then took to criticizing the veteran actress.
However, she once more hit back, telling them that if they believe in BBM, then that is their own opinion.
She also said that there really is no problem if he did not graduate from the said university, what's important is not to lie about it.

"Huwag kayong magalit sa out of context niyong dahilan. Wala naman talagang kaso kung hindi graduate, wag lang magsinungaling. Anyway, di tayo magkaaway kahit magkaiba tayo ng bet at mga rason. Kung galit kayo sa post ko, may iba akong responsibilidad sa iba. Maganda naman yang nagtatanggol kayo sa kanya."

Rita Avila took to Instagram to air her thoughts on the recent statements of Mayor Isko Moreno against VP Leni Robredo. She reposted a quote card of Mayor Isko and included her own caption beneath it. The veteran actress told Mayor Isko that if he could not understand what VP Leni was saying, then it may be a signal that he could not lead the Philippines. She also urged Isko to listen to what VP Leni is saying so that he would be able to deepen his understanding.
Rita Avila had a post about herself amid her series of posts about politics. On her Instagram page, she humbly described herself and stated why she has been vocal with her views. She likewise revealed people’s reactions to her posts showing support for Vice President Leni Robredo’s presidential bid.
