Rita Avila, binweltahan mga patutsada ni Isko Moreno kay VP Leni: "Ang babaw yorme...kakahiya ka naman"

- She reposted a quote card of Mayor Isko and included her own caption beneath it
- The veteran actress told Mayor Isko that if he could not understand what VP Leni was saying, then it may be a signal that he could not lead the Philippines
- She also urged Isko to listen to what VP Leni is saying so that he would be able to deepen his understanding

Rita Avila did not hold back in chastising Mayor Isko Moreno for his pronouncements against Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.

The statement that Rita pointed out was, "'Yan lang ba ang dahilan kung bakit siya tatakbo? Paano naman kaming mga Pilipino, wala kaming trabaho?"
This did not sit well with Rita considering that he and Leni were supposed to be in good terms.
In the first Instagram post of Rita, she called the former celeb as "mababaw." She then sarcastically thanked the presidential candidate for showing his true colors early on.

"Ang babaw yorme,” said Rita. “Yan lang ang kaya mong isipin at sabihin? Kung hindi mo makita ang buti sa mga sinabi ni VP, kakahiya ka naman.
“Maganda nga ang sinabi tungkol sa ‘yo ni VP Leni. At ikaw din maganda sinabi mo sa kanya nung nakaraan. After few days ganyan ka na? Gollum lang? Paiba-iba ng mukha at sinasabi?
“At yellowtards pa talaga ha? Ako nga ayoko pag tinatawag ang mga DDS ng Dutertards kasi ‘di naman dapat magpakababa ng pagkatao by calling them that just bec. DDS sila.
“Pasensya na ha? Pero salamat sa pagpapakita mo ng kulay.”"
In the second post, Rita said, "Kung hindi mo maunawaan, parang senyales ito na di ka pwedeng mamuno sa Pilipinas. Makinig ka kaya sa mga sinabi ni VP Leni para mas lumalim ang pag-intindi mo."

Vice President Leni Robredo hailed Rappler founder Maria Ressa following her 2021 Nobel Peace Prize win. Ressa and Russian journalist Dmitry Muratov received the said award on Friday for "their efforts to safeguard freedom of expression, which is a precondition for democracy and lasting peace.” Robredo then took to her Twitter page to congratulate the Nobel laureate.
Jillian Robredo took to Facebook and posted a heartwarming message for her mother. She reiterated how proud she is of her mama who would be running for President in Halalan 2022. Jillian started her post by remembering the time that she was just 12 and how she would dream of having her mom all to themselves. However. seeing the situation, she said that it is not yet time and signified how proud she is of her mom.
