Under the ruling, Yllana must pay P1 million in temperate damages, P1 million in moral damages, P1 million in exemplary damages, and P500,000 for attorney's fees and litigation expenses, for a total of P3.5 million.

A portion of the court's ruling reads:

As of this posting, Yllana has yet to publicly respond to the court's decision.
The lawsuit arose after Yllana made a series of allegations during a livestream in 2025 concerning Eat Bulaga and several of its prominent personalities. Among the claims he raised were accusations that a supposed "syndicate" existed within the noontime show. He also made allegations involving Senator Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, including a personal claim that Tito had a mistress.
Anjo Yllana has been part of showbiz for many years, known for his comedic roles and long tenure as a host of Eat Bulaga. In recent months, however, he has been involved in several online controversies, especially after making claims about Senator Tito Sotto which he later clarified and retracted. The situation has kept him in the public eye, especially among netizens who follow showbiz issues closely.
Yllana made headlines last December after issuing an ultimatum to Manny V. Pangilinan when Cristy Fermin declined to have him on her radio show. He said he wanted the chance to answer criticisms related to his statements about Senator Tito Sotto. Claiming that TV5 was not giving him a fair opportunity to explain himself, Anjo warned that he would encourage his increasing number of followers to stop watching the network if the issue persisted.

He admitted that he struggled to manage his emotions, particularly on newer platforms such as TikTok. He shared that his remarks were driven by long-held resentment and emotions that had remained unspoken. According to him, he realized it was time to stop after friends and family encouraged him to do so.
