Angelica Jones revealed on Tuesday, September 1, that current Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian courted her in the past, admitting that she now wishes she had said yes to him.

The revelation came during her interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” when host Boy Abunda asked her about a politician she wished she had accepted in the past.

“Politikong sana sinagot mo noon?” the veteran talk show host inquired.

Angelica initially hesitated before answering, explaining that the politician she had in mind pursued her when she was 22 years old.

“Si ano po... Matagal na po 'yun, long time ago when I was 22 years old. Si... sabihin ko ba? Si ano po, actually ano naman po siyang matagal na, long, long time ago pa. Nung ano pa siya noon...”

After initially being reluctant to name the politician, Angelica eventually said:

“Senator Win before. A long, long time ago.”

Boy then clarified if Angelica was referring to Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian, to which she confirmed.

Angelica’s revelation offered a glimpse into a little-known chapter of her past, recalling a time when the senator pursued her romantically. The disclosure added another detail to her personal story from many years ago.

The “Miss Flawless” remains strong and has vowed to focus on her recovery for her only child, Angelo, and the people who continue to support and love her.
