Legendary performing arts icon Lea Salonga is officially cementing her permanent place in entertainment history, as international organizers finally pulled back the curtain to give fans a thrilling early look at her very own star on the legendary boulevard.

As part of the prestigious Walk of Fame Class of 2026, Lea proudly stands out as the very first Filipina artist to achieve this monumental global accolade, joining an elite roster of international icons.

The grand ceremony for her permanent marker—officially designated as the 2,855th star on the landmark strip—is set to take place right in front of the historic Pantages Theatre.

To match the magnitude of her legacy, the event boasts a stellar line-up of prominent speakers, including television host Sibley Scoles, beloved stars Ming-Na Wen and Brandy, and acclaimed Filipino-American actor Darren Criss.

The gathering brings together a remarkable convergence of Disney royalty and theater trailblazers. Fans fondly remember that Ming-Na Wen provided the speaking voice while Lea delivered the breathtaking singing voice for Disney's iconic animated heroine "Mulan," with a similar legendary collaboration anchoring "Aladdin" where Lea breathed musical life into Princess Jasmine.

Beyond her monumental Hollywood milestone, the multi-awarded artist is also receiving a hero's welcome back home, highlighted by a special Icon Award at the closing ceremony of the Manila International Film Festival alongside a special screening of her classic film "Sana Maulit Muli."
