Senator Bato dela Rosa was caught in a heated argument with a youth group leader. The remark of Dela Rosa over the case of Antonio Sanchez was brought up by the student leader during the talk about the ROTC.

Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon has engaged in a word war with Ronald Cardema. She aired strong words against Cardema over his disqualification case. Guanzon has also dared Cardema to pursue the impeachment case against her.

Several social media posts claimed that Sanchez was already out of jail. Therefore, the New Bilibid Prison provided photos to debunk the claims. The Department of Justice will investigate the matter.

Senate President Tito Sotto has commented over the SOGIE bill. He said that the proposed measure would put an end to academic and religious freedom. However, Sen. Risa Hontiveros said that the SOGIE bill respects the freedom.

A lawmaker proposed to implement a beep card system for buses on EDSA. Samar Rep. Edgar Sarmiento called for the modernization of the fare system. He added that it could lessen the traffic along EDSA.

Gretchen Diez reacts over the stereotypes given to transgender women. She said that there was always “pre-judgment” to LGTBQ members. Diez also urged for strong education to prevent discrimination.

PAO chief Persida Acosta is accused of being corrupt in the agency. Some PAO employees accused Acosta of using Dengvaxia for corruption. The chief attorney has commented over the complaint against her.

A transgender woman was stopped from using the ladies’ comfort room. A janitress reportedly dragged Gretchen Custodio Diez to the security office. However, Diez was set free after the mall management dropped the case.
