The New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa has provided photos on Thursday, showing that former Calauan Mayor Antonio Sanchez is being well-treated inside the jail.
KAMI learned that several posts on social media claimed that Sanchez was spotted outside the prison and was seen in his house 2 months ago.

In a report by the ABS-CBN News, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said that they will look into the claims.
However, the Bureau of Corrections has clarified that the release of Sanchez is not guaranteed yet.

In a previous report by KAMI, the former mayor was among the candidates who are subjected to an early release due to good conduct.
Sanchez was convicted in 1995 for the killing of two UP Los Baños students Eileen Sarmenta and Allan Gomez in 1993. He was sentenced with reclusion perpetua for 40 years.
