As Lucia Joaquin continues to scare netizens, many are left wondering how her story all began. This new viral post on Facebook might just be the answer.

KAMI presents to you the possible explanation, which was shared by a Pinoy netizen on Facebook.
According to the viral post, Lucia was written by Roel Arhanes and Relie Cieno based on the true-to-life murder of Luciana San Pedro in Marikina City.

Luciana was allegedly murdered by a group of thieves at around 3 a.m. because she fought back.
Her decapitated body was also reportedly found by the residents who wanted to get water from her well, where the bodies of the alleged thieves were also found.
The rumors say that it was Luciana’s spirit that took revenge on her own killers.
Since then, some residents in Marikina have reported seeing Luciana’s ghost near the well.

But why did the alleged writers change the surname of Luciana?
“Kumalat ang mga sabi-sabi sa buong marikina kaya naisip ng ibang tao na gawan to ng kwento. Pina-ikli lang nla ang pangalan ni Luciana Sab Pedro at ginawang Lucia Joaquin para mas maging nakakatakot. At trivia pa po ang Joaquin sa Greek ay "The Dawn Spirit" kaya ginawa nlang Joaquin ang apilyedo nya.”
The post also explains that the story of Luciana was already featured on an episode of SOCO back in 2013.
“At para sa kaalaman po ninyo nai-feature narin ang kwento ni Luciana San Pedro sa SOCO noong Araw ng mga patay last 2013. Una pinost lang ang story ni Lucia ng mga writer na gumawa ng story nya sa fb acc. nila pero dahil naging trending ito naisipan nila itong gawan ng pages at acc.
“At para mas lalong sumikat nilagyan nla ng part2 at part3 yung story at kasalukuyan pang ginagawa ang part4. Kaya hindi totoong dadalawin kanya tuwing 3:00 ng madaling araw.

“At isa pang Trivia yung picture po ni Lucia ay hindi totoong sya. Yun ay ang cat witch na si Dorothy sa movie na "The Portal to Catlandia". Kaya yung profile ni Lucia Joaquin ay fake at gawa-gawa lang ng mga writer. Kaya mga bess bago mag over react please seek for the truth. Tinatakot nyo lang yung sarili nyo sa isang bagay na wala na mang katotohanan. Ang dami talagang nagagawa ng facebook.”
However, the details of this explanation have not yet been verified by a reliable source.
