Melai Cantiveros looked back on her journey with husband Jason Francisco through an Instagram reel that brought together clips from their Pinoy Big Brother days and footage of them today.

The video began with moments from their time as housemates before moving to present-day clips. It offered a then-and-now look at the pair whose names became linked through their “Melason” tandem.

In her caption, the host also made a playful reference to housemates Jeo and Gehlee. “Jeoson❤️ Gehleefish = Melason,” she wrote, connecting their names to her and Jason’s tandem as she revisited their own journey from housemates to husband and wife.

She also included “#Sabikosariliko,” “#MelasonEntry,” and “#housematesforever,” connecting her playful post to the reality show where their story together began.

Melai and Jason met as housemates on Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up in 2009. They later married on December 9, 2013, taking their relationship beyond the house where viewers first got to know them.

That shared history formed the main thread of the reel. The earlier clips revisited their housemate days, while the newer footage showed the pair in the present.

Still, the comedian found something to tease herself about as she looked back. Addressing her followers, she asked them to excuse her and Jason’s appearance in the old footage.

“Pagpasensyahan nyu na mga pagmumukha namin ni Papang lalo na mukha ko jan,” she wrote.

Calling her husband “Papang,” the actress included him in the joke but directed most of the teasing at herself. She followed the apology with another humorous description of her appearance at the time.

“Kita nyu naman , el-nino pa ang kain ko jan,” she added.

The caption then shifted from their earlier looks to the more recent portion of the reel. Melai joked that she could now afford Belo treatments, linking her remark to how her skin appeared toward the end.

“Ngayun nakakapagpa Belo na @belobeauty na kaya sa dulo ng video nakaka smooth skin na,” she wrote.

She accompanied the line with playful emojis before thanking the doctor directly.

“Thank you @victoria_belo,” the host added.
