VP Leni Robredo already said that she’s still making a discernment and will arrive at the right decision at the right time.

On the other hand, Rep. Lito Atienza already filed his certificate of candidacy for Vice President under the Promdi Party, with the party standard-bearer, Sen. Manny Pacquiao, on October 1, Friday.

Although VP Robredo hasn’t declared or announced anything yet, Atienza chose to go into what appeared to be an attack mode against her.

“Anu na ba nagawa mo sa bayan bakit pinipilit mo magpresidente, she should be able to answer that bilang Pilipino,” part of Atienza’s statement went.

He also revealed that VP Leni did not give way to the candidacy of Sen. Manny Pacquiao, who will run for president in next year’s elections.

The attacks of Rep. Atienza did not sit well with Robredo’s supporters, among them actress and singer Agot Isidro.

She said it is not Robredo who is trying hard to be counted as one of the presidential candidates; instead, the people supporting VP Leni wanted her to run for president.

“Mawalang-galang na po, Mr. Atienza, kami po ang namimilit sa kanya na tumakbo. May namilit po ba sa inyo?” Agot fired back at Atienza.

Rep. Atienza has yet to react to the statement of Agot as of this posting.

In the past, Agot also took to Twitter to hit at President Duterte’s statement as to when will the country have a sufficient supply of vaccine. The actress took a swipe at what she believed to be an ineptness on the part of the President by asking how did he get to become mayor. Agot has been at odds with the government for a long time, tweeting her opinion on government action or inaction. The actress is among the celebrities who have always been at loggerheads with the current administration.

In June of this year, the singer-actress shared on social media sad state of her car after it was deliberately damaged by someone. According to the singer-actress, an unknown perpetrator intentionally smashed the window of her car to pieces. She said she might have been a victim of the so-called “bukas kotse gang.” Despite what happened and the hassle it created for her, Agot is still thankful nothing was taken.
