The mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo posted about getting a massage at a spa on Tuesday morning, September 29. Along with a photo related to her self-care activity, Angelica wrote:

“Giving myself the love I so easily give to others..”

One netizen, who appeared to be acquainted with Angelica, reacted to her post by praising her decision to practice self-love.

“Self-love to the maxxxx!!!” the netizen commented.

Angelica responded with an equally emphatic message, saying:

“yes tita ALAM mo Yan NASA ERA NA AKO NA SARILI KO NAMAN AHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA...”

The same netizen then recalled Angelica's efforts for the people she loved, particularly her family, and encouraged her to continue living her life while focusing on herself.

The family conflict recently resurfaced following Carlos and Chloe's interview with ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Karen Davila. During the interview, the celebrity couple discussed whether they would invite their parents to their wedding.

Angelica Yulo (born Angelica Poquiz Yulo) is a prominent Filipino public figure best known as the mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and gymnast Karl Eldrew Yulo. Recently capturing public attention for her family conflict with Carlos and his longtime girlfriend Chloe San Jose, she also recently shared personal milestones, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration from the Philippine Christian University.

It can be recalled in a previous interview that Carlos Yulo described winning his second Asian Games gold medal as a miracle after recalling a frightening moment during the vault qualification. The gymnast admitted that he made a dangerous mistake that could have affected his chances of reaching the finals. Throughout the competition, Carlos said his main prayer was for everyone’s safety as they competed. He also celebrated the achievement of his younger brother, Karl Eldrew Yulo, who secured a bronze medal in the horizontal bar finals.
