The actress visited the program on Sunday, October 4, to promote Pee Mak, the Philippine adaptation of the popular Thai horror-comedy film. Wilbert is also part of the movie and serves as Bea’s love team.
During the discussion, the show’s hosts, DJ Jhai Ho and Ashley Rivera, reacted with excitement when actress and Pee Mak co-star Candy Pangilinan teased the apparent chemistry between Bea and Wilbert.

The playful remark led DJ Jhai Ho to ask Bea whether Wilbert was already working on getting her to give him a sweet “yes.”
Wilbert had previously fueled curiosity about his romantic status when he appeared on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. At the time, he described his situation as “in the works” when asked whether he was single or taken.
When DJ Jhai Ho brought up that previous statement and asked Bea about it, the actress made it clear that Wilbert should be the one to provide the answer.
“Siya 'yung sumagot no'n, so dapat siya rin ang sasagot no'n,” Bea said.
However, when directly asked about their relationship status, Bea offered a simple answer.
“Happy,” she said.
She then elaborated on how she currently feels, adding:
“Happy, blessed, grateful.”
The conversation also touched on Wilbert’s involvement in Bea’s recent gig at Teatrino Promenade in Greenhills. DJ Jhai Ho noted how hands-on Wilbert appeared to be during the event.
Bea explained that she and Wilbert had previously discussed her upcoming gig. According to the actress, Wilbert helped coordinate with the band he knew and began contributing ideas even during rehearsals.
She further shared that Wilbert eventually volunteered to direct the event after his own work was canceled that day.
Bea recalled, “So doon sa band rehearsals pa lang, nagpi-pitch in na siya ng ideas, tumutulong na siya talaga.”
She also explained that when Wilbert suddenly became available, he offered to take on a more active role.
“And then, nu'ng mismong day, hindi natuloy 'yung raket niya, so sinabi niya, since wala naman siyang ginagawa and it's something he wants to do also, nag-volunteer siya to be, siya na rin mag-direk.”
Candy was also asked whether she noticed anything between Bea and Wilbert while they were filming Pee Mak. She said she did not know anything about their relationship but recalled one particular detail involving Wilbert’s attentiveness toward Bea.
“Wala, wala akong alam. Alam ko lang, palaging inaayos ni Wilbert ang mga palda niya kapag ito'y maikli,” Candy said.
While Bea kept her answer brief, her description of their status as “Happy, blessed, grateful” has certainly added another layer of interest to her growing onscreen and offscreen connection with Wilbert.
Bea Binene is a Filipina actress, host, and athlete who rose to fame as a finalist on StarStruck Kids and cemented her status as one of GMA Network's top teen stars of her generation. Hailing from Quezon City with Chinese-Filipino roots, she has built a diverse career spanning hit television series like Strawberry Lane, competitive wushu, and entrepreneurial ventures.
In another report, the actress and host reflected on how social media opinions can become increasingly intense. Bea acknowledged that people have the freedom to share their thoughts online but cautioned that conversations can sometimes go beyond reasonable limits. Her remarks came as Patrick Garcia faced heavy criticism over his comments concerning his former partner Jennylyn Mercado and their son, Jazz. Bea emphasized that people may feel they understand an issue based on what they see online, while remaining unaware of what happens away from social media and the cameras.
