Donald Trump is a former US President and is the 45th to hold that position. During his bid for reelection in 2020, he was defeated by current US President, Joe Biden. This year, Trump is again throwing his hat in the 2024 presidential race, in what many perceive as a rematch between Biden and the business mogul.
Back in 2021, Trump was banned on Facebook and Instagram because of his alleged violation of the social media platforms' community guidelines. His banning from the two platforms reached a couple of weeks. According to Facebook CEO Marck Zuckerberg, Trump used the platforms to sow chaos during the transition of power to Joe Biden. At the time, Trump was also banned on Twitter for about 12 hours.
Still back in 2021, Joe Biden finally took his oath as the 46th President of the United States on the 20th of January of that year. At the time, Biden has declared that democracy won in America on that day because of his successful inauguration. Biden immediately buckled down to work and signed around 15 executive actions. He also declared null and void some of the policies put in place by Trump when he was still president.
