Simon Khung, a Singaporean content creator, just penned a heartbreaking message to his late daughter, Megan, who passed away in 2020.
In the report of Asia One, Simon made the post after his ex-wife, Foo Li Ping, pleaded guilty at the High Court to three charges about the abuse.

On Saturday, March 1, Simon said that 3 years have already passed and yet the pain has never subsided after his daughter's untimely death.
"3 years [have] passed, but the pain has never [subsided]. I just want you to know that I will never give up on what I've been doing ever since I stepped into social media. I will turn all these [grief] into good use. Despite what you have [gone] thru, no sorry can ever be enough for me to say to you," he wrote on his official Instagram page.

By the end of his post, he said, "Fly high, baby. Till then, baby, [papa] will hug you once again."
Megan, who is Simon's daughter with Foo, passed away after suffering abuse at the hands of her own mother and her boyfriend, Wong Shi Xiang.
According to Channel News Asia's report, after an abusive episode, the couple refrained from calling for help and instead took drugs afterward.
Eventually, Megan passed away, with the couple deciding to burn her body in a metal barrel on May 8, 2020, as per the report from Straits Times.
The case of a 4-year-old child, who suffered from cruel abuse including starvation and beatings, made headlines and shocked many netizens online.
Further reports also said that the abuse began as early as when Megan was just 3 years old.
On February 28, 2025, both Foo and Wong faced the High Court and pleaded guilty for the charges.
The Deputy Public Prosecutor, Marcus Foo, sought a sentence of 15 to 20 years' jail for Foo, saying the case involved a big neglect of parental duties.
