Veteran Filipino entertainer Randy Santiago recently gave his followers a glimpse of his latest medical procedure after undergoing cataract surgery on his right eye at the UST Hospital Eye Center.

Randy shared several photos from the operation on social media while providing an update about his recovery and expressing his appreciation for the medical professionals who assisted him.
According to Randy, the recent procedure took place a year after he underwent cataract surgery on his left eye.
“After a year from my first cataract surgery on my left eye, I had my right eye done this time,” Randy wrote.

He specifically thanked his ophthalmologist, Dr. Rollo C. Milante, whom he credited for making the procedure smooth and quick.
“Thank you to my Ophthalmologist, Dr. Rollo C. Milante for a very smooth and fast procedure.”
Randy also acknowledged the nurses who assisted during the operation, describing the medical team as efficient.
“Kudos also to the very efficient team of nurses together with my Anesthesiologist, Dr. Zaldy L. Ong.”
Beyond the professionals directly involved in the surgery, Randy also expressed his gratitude to Dr. Elvis Llarena for providing follow-up care and support.

The actor and television host revealed that his latest procedure was performed at a newly opened section of the hospital’s eye institute.
“The procedure was done in the newly opened wing of the Eye Institute of UST Hospital.”
He likewise thanked Dr. Rosita Milante for conducting his postoperative checkup.

The procedure follows his previous cataract operation involving his left eye, which he underwent at the same UST Hospital Eye Center a year earlier.
