Several areas in Luzon have already announced class suspensions. Tropical storm Hanna is expected to intensify into a typhoon when it reaches Batanes. Hanna is likely to exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Friday.
PAGASA announced that two to three more tropical cyclones will enter PAR this July. These tropical cyclones are likely to make landfall. “Egay” has slightly weakened and continues to move northwest.

Many areas in Luzon are under signal no. 1 and no. 2 due to Typhoon Rosita. PAGASA raised signal no. 3 over some areas in Luzon as well. They also said that Rosita is likely to bring rains similar to Typhoon Ondoy.
A report has shown the comparison of Typhoon Ompong and Super Typhoon Yolanda. According to the report, Typhoon Ompong is less likely to be strong than Typhoon Yolanda. However, Ompong's storm surge might be greater than Yolanda.
