Director Darryl Yap shared with the public his recent conversation with Vice President Sara Duterte.

On his Facebook account, Yap posted a screenshot of his exchange with the vice president.

“Ingat jan VP. napakaraming nagdarasal para sa inyo,” the director told Duterte.

The country’s second-in-command then replied with a quote card showing verses from the Bible’s book of Psalms, chapter 10.

This prompted Yap to reply, “Love you VP, iyakap mo kami kay Tatay!”

In the caption, Yap likewise shared his honest thoughts about the convo.

“Dati, napipikon ako kay VP Inday Sara pag nagsesend ng mga Bible Quotes; pero ngayon,alam ko mas matindi ang laban. Halos isang chapter na ang sinend eh,” he wrote.

Furthermore, Yap expressed his support for the vice president and former President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Mahal ka namin VP! kayo ni PRRD,” he added.

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) confirmed on Thursday that Vice President Sara Duterte is now in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and is set to visit her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, who is detained at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, ABS-CBN reported.

According to the OVP, Duterte arrived in the Netherlands at approximately 9:27 p.m. (Central European Standard Time) on Wednesday, March 12.

Upon arrival, she received assistance from the Dutch Foreign Ministry and the Dutch National Police Corps.

Before visiting her father, the Vice President has a series of scheduled meetings on March 13, 2025.

The OVP stated that she would be attending these engagements while awaiting her designated visitation time. Rodrigo Duterte arrived in the Netherlands earlier, landing at Rotterdam Airport at 4:56 p.m. CET (11:56 p.m. Philippine time).

He was then transported to Scheveningen, The Hague, where the ICC detention center is located.

The visit comes amid ongoing legal proceedings at the ICC, which is investigating alleged human rights violations committed during Duterte’s presidency.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte was the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines. He left Malacañang on June 30. The newly inaugurated President of the Philippines is Bongbong Marcos who got 31 million votes in the May 2022 elections. The new Vice President of the Philippines is VP Sara Duterte, the daughter of former president Rodrigo Duterte.

Earlier, the former president was apprised of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine. In a video shared by GMA News, CIDG chief, Police Major General Nicolas Torre III, is seen reciting the Miranda Doctrine to the former president. The reading of the Miranda rights is a standard procedure for persons being arrested to ensure that the latter fully understands their rights upon their arrest. It can be recalled that the International Police (InterPol) has confirmed the issuance of the arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court against the former president.
