The footage, exclusively obtained by GMA News, showed the student walking inside the campus with a backpack and a long black bag.
According to an Unang Balita report, the student did not use the main entrance of the Junior High School building, where a security guard was stationed.
Instead, the learner turned right and passed through an emergency exit ramp. Authorities are investigating whether the firearm used in the shooting was hidden inside the long black bag.

A separate GMA News report said the bag may have contained the weapon allegedly taken from the vehicle of the student’s father. The parent reportedly dropped the learner off at the school that morning.
Only a few minutes after the CCTV footage was recorded, shots were fired on the fourth floor of the building.
Two students died in the incident, including the student identified by authorities as the shooter. Other people were injured, while some reportedly fainted during the emergency.
Investigators are reviewing the footage and other available evidence to establish how the weapons were brought inside the campus. The inquiry is also looking into the circumstances that led to the attack.
Following the incident, Ateneo de Zamboanga University began implementing tighter security measures.
Entry and exit points are now being inspected more carefully. Vehicles entering the university grounds will also be subjected to stricter checks.
Additional CCTV cameras have reportedly been installed in classrooms and hallways to improve monitoring. These measures are intended to help school personnel spot possible security concerns and respond quickly during emergencies.
Zamboanga City Mayor Khymer Olaso also reminded parents to communicate regularly with their children and keep firearms securely stored at home.
