The incident was reported by Unang Balita, which also shared video footage of what happened.
In the video, a forklift can be seen reversing while moving a container van. Moments later, it became apparent that the truck driver had been trapped between two container vans.
The victim's co-workers immediately rushed to help him. They carefully lifted him from the area and brought him to safety so he could receive immediate medical attention.

According to one of the driver's colleagues, the forklift operator allegedly did not notice that the truck driver was standing beside the container van before moving another one closer.
As a result, the driver became pinned between the two container vans and sustained serious injuries.
The report said the victim is now recovering in the hospital. He suffered a broken arm and fractured ribs because of the accident.
It was also reported that the truck driver and the forklift operator have already reached an agreement following the incident.
No further details about the agreement were disclosed in the report.

In other developments, a man allegedly selling illegal drúgs through live selling on social media managed to escape a buy-bust operation conducted by police in Iloilo City. Authorities said they had been monitoring the suspect after learning that he was allegedly using live-selling sessions to sell illegal drúgs online. Based on their surveillance, police immediately planned and carried out an operation against him.
