Andy G, a former battle rapper, has been arrested in Pasay City today, October 17.
KAMI learned that the rapper, whose real name is Andy Jamolin, was caught by the police with a sachet of shabu.
According to a report by Jonathan Andal for the GMA-7 program “Unang Balita,” a person named Joseph de Vera was also arrested.
De Vera was caught by the police with two sachets of shabu.

In a previous report by KAMI, another battle rapper, known as Loonie, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Makati City.
Authorities were able to seize over a dozen sachets of high-grade cannabis, allegedly from Loonie’s group. Loonie is one of the most well-known battle rappers in the Philippines. Videos of his rap battles have gone viral on YouTube.
