A 43-year-old motorcycle taxi rider was stabbed multiple times by a passenger early Monday morning in Quezon City.

According to a report from "Unang Balita" of GMA Integrated News, the passenger had initially booked a ride from Recto Avenue and asked to be taken to a location where the attack eventually took place.
The stabbing occurred at around 5 a.m.

The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained several stab wounds.
A concerned resident witnessed the incident and immediately called for help.
Barangay personnel responded quickly and rushed the injured rider to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities investigating the case revealed that the suspect only took the victim’s motorcycle.
Surprisingly, the victim's other personal belongings—including his cellphone and wallet—were left untouched.
This has led investigators to consider motives other than robbery, although the theft of the motorcycle remains the primary lead.
The suspect remains at large as of this writing.
Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from nearby establishments and gathering more information to aid in the identification and arrest of the assailant.
The incident has sparked concern among fellow motorcycle taxi drivers, many of whom now fear for their safety while on the job.

According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
