A 6-year-old child from Naga City, Cebu, tragically passed away after being hit by an SUV.

In a report in SAKSI of GMA 7, the child and their parents were on their way to San Fernando, Cebu, to ask for Christmas gifts.

Sadly, an SUV hit them, leading to the child’s death and injuring the parents.

The SUV driver admitted he fell asleep due to exhaustion and will face multiple charges for the incident.

However, a construction worker saw them and called them out; that's when they tried to flee from the scene and jumped into a creek.
