A public utility van was struck by a truck and completely wrecked.

The tragic accident happened in Pangantucan, Bukidnon, leaving three people dead.

In a report in GMA 7's '24 Oras,' the truck, which was carrying sugarcane, lost its brakes and crashed into the van.

Both the truck driver and helper were injured, and the driver will face legal charges because of the accident.

In another viral local report, a 16-year-old boy jumped into a creek but unfortunately died after allegedly trying to steal a bicycle. The incident happened in Barangay Imelda, Baguio City, yesterday. According to the police's investigation, the teenager was accompanied by a 10-year-old boy in his attempt to steal a bicycle. However, a construction worker saw them and called them out; that's when they tried to flee from the scene and jumped into a creek.
