Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, speaking to Senate reporters, expressed his anger toward controversial Albuera mayoralty candidate, Kerwin Espinosa.

In a statement, the legislator said he will immediately punch Espinosa in the face if ever he sees him.
Senator dela Rosa also said that the controversial mayoralty candidate is too much of a liar.
“Ang masasabi ko lang kay Kerwin Espinosa, sinungaling siya,” Senator dela Rosa told Senate reporters.

“Kapag nakita ko siya, suntukin ko siya sa mukha, masyado siyang sinungaling,” the legislator added.
Earlier, the Albuera mayoralty candidate appeared as a resource person before the House Quad Committee, which is investigating cases related to POGO, illegal drug trade, and extra-judicial killings.
During the hearing, Espinosa dropped a bombshell about Senator dela Rosa, saying that he was the one who coerced him to pinpoint former Senator De Lima and Peter Lim as having connections to the illegal drug trade.
He also said that Senator dela Rosa, when he was still the PNP Chief, told him what happened to Kerwin’s father, the late Mayor Rolando Espinosa, could also happen to him.
Mayor Rolando Espinosa died in his jail cell after an alleged shootout with the police who came to his jail cell to serve a search warrant.

He appeared as a resource person at the Congressional Quad Committee, which investigates the proliferation of POGO, drugs, and extra-judicial killings. t one point, Congresswoman Gerville “Jinky Bitrics” Luistro asked him what would he say if his father, the late Mayor Rolando Espinosa, is listening. Kerwin then broke down and amid tears, he gave his message for his Dad.
